Image brightness, contrast, color and other properties

Image properties may be changed by accessing the Image Filter options. Select one or more images on your page then click on the Image Filter icon.

If required, click on the More Options... button to reveal additional properties.

Brightness refers to the overall lightness or darkness of the image.  Use the Brightness slider to adjust your image's luminosity level.

Contrast is the difference in brightness between objects or regions. Use the Contrast slide to make adjust the relative levels of dark and light areas in your image.

Temperature describes the color of light in an image. Temperature ranges from a blue to gold/orange range. Use the Temperature slide to cool or warm your images.

Tint is the mixture of a color with whiteness of your images. Tint ranges from a red to green range.  Use the Tint slider to balance the red-to-green ratio of your images.

Temperature & Tint are components of white balancing.
Images reflect the light conditions under which they were taken, as well as camera settings. You can adjust temperature and tint to achieve the degree of white clarity required - a pure white versus a warm ivory.

Hue simultaneously adjusts all the colors in your image.  Move the slider right and left to subtly change the color in your image, or add a dramatic color effect. (Hue is useful for shifting the color of textured backgrounds.)

Gamma changes the difference between dark and light areas - akin to adjusting Brightness and Contrast simultaneously.

B&W increasingly removes color from your images.

Blur reduces the sharpness/focus of your images.

Color Tint applies an overlay of selected color equally to your entire image.
