Splitting an image into a mosaic

Modified on Sat, 25 Nov, 2023 at 9:14 AM

To mosaic an image into a grid, select it on your canvas, then access the Split tool. Specify the number of columns and rows, then hit Apply. Your image will appear as a divided mosaic.

Note: Adjust the inter-frame spacing control before applying the splitter to move the frames closer together or further apart.

Each piece of the grid is a separate image frame that can be edited individually or as a multi-selected item.

In this example, a variety of image effects have been added to each piece of the grid.

The original image itself has not been cropped - each frame holds a complete copy of the original image, perfectly positioned. You may select the frames individually to apply effects or show more of the photo within the frame.
