Browsing Photos from Your Computer

A - Click on Navigation Folder Tree to locate the photos you want to add to your album from your computer.

B - If you have made changes in your computer folder, you can click on the Refresh Folder Icon to ensure the Folder Tree reflects the newly added folders or photos. For example, you may have connected a USB drive.

C - This is the area where the photos will be displayed based on the selected folder.

Show Rating and Filename

A - Click on the Vertical Menu 3 dots menu to show or hide the display of the image filename and rating. The displayed rating is compatible with the Adobe suite of products.

Change Display Filtering - DateTime, Filename, and Rating

A - You have the option to filter how the photos are displayed, based on either Timestamp, Filename, or Rating. Clicking again on the same icon will reverse the order of the displayed photos.

Show High Resolution Thumbnails

A - By default, for best performance, we display a lower resolution of the photo thumbnails. The quality is suitable for 95% of cases. However, you can opt to show high-resolution thumbnails if desired. Please note that this will impact display performance and memory usage.

Change Thumbnail Sizes

- You can change the number of photos you want to see when browsing images. Use the Thumbnails Slider to adjust the number of thumbnails displayed per row. In the current example, it is set to 10 thumbnails per row. You can change it from 5 to 16 thumbnails per row.

Select All Photos

A - Click on Select All to select all the photos.

Deselect All Photos

A - Click on Deselect All to select all the photos.

Add All Selected Photos

A - Click on the Add Button to add the selected photos to your collection, ready to be used for your album. You can add as many photos as you want from any source folder. Simply select another source folder to add more photos.

Add One Photo A La Carte

A - You can add a single photo by moving the mouse over a photo. A + icon will appear, and clicking on it will add the photo to your collection.

Big Photo Preview

A - Seeing a small thumbnail is sometimes not enough, and you may want to view a bigger version of the photo before deciding to add it to your collection. Click on the Magnifier icon when you move over the photo with the mouse to open the Big Photo Viewer.

A - Use the Left and Right Arrows to navigate through all images.

B - Click on the + icon to add the image to your collection. You can repeat the process for all images.

C - Close the Big Photo Preview

The Photo Collection Panel

The photos associated with your project are displayed in the Collection Panel, which appears on the Photo Tab, the Book Editor, the Page Editor, and the Cover Editor.

Change Photo Collection Panel Size

A - Hover over the border of the pane and the area above it, then click and drag to increase or decrease the height of the pane.

Many of the display options are the same in the collection pane as they are on the preview pane. Turn on File Name and/or Ratings under the photos, and Sort by File Date/Time, File Name, or Ratings.

Change the size of the preview images by adjusting the Thumbnails slider or choose to resize to fit the view.

Used Images

When you add a photo to a page in the Editor, it will disappear from the collection pane. This allows you to focus on the unused images, and not not accidentally use the same photo twice on another page.

To show used and unused photos in the collection pane, click on the Menu icon and deselect the Hide images used in project option.

Images used once in your project will be marked with a green tab in the corner. Images used two or more times will display an orange tab.

Removing images from the collection

To remove all unused images from your collection, choose Select all, then Remove. Images added to pages cannot be removed until they have been deleted from your pages.

To remove an individual image from the collection, hover over it in the collection and click on the - button.
